Donegal Community Nursing Units

JC Hogan & Sons have been appointed Quantity Surveyors for five CNUs in Donegal for the HSE Northwest.  Dungloe CNU completed summer 2021 and Carndonagh CNU due for completion November 2021. Buncrana and Falcarragh CNUs due to commence in 2021 and 2022, These projects involved extensions and renovations to bring the existing buildings up to HIQA standards.

Bru Chaoimhin HSE, Clock Tower and Roof Renovation 2018

JC Hogan & Sons provided complete quantity surveying services on this roof and clock tower renovation project at Bru Chaoimhin, Cork Street, Dublin 8.  The works involved replacement of existing slate roof finishes, lead parapet capping, clock tower repairs and boundary wall upgrade for the HSE. Works were completed in January 2018.

Bru Chaoimhin Unit 4 External Facade Refurbishment

Refurbishment of existing 2 storey listed Hospital building, including repointing brickwork, replacing existing pitched roof finish, new glazing, footpaths and repairs to damaged lintols. Work carried out to Unit 4 at Bru Chaoimhin HSE Campus, Cork Street, Dublin 8. Construction commencing in November 2014.

Cleraun University Study Centre

Alterations and refurbishment to existing Cleraun University Study Centre, Fosters Avenue, Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin . This projectdue to be completed in November 2014 and involves complete stripping out, alterations and refurbishing of existing 1500m2 4 storey building including new bedrooms, en suites, new extensions and associated mechanical and electrical installation.  

Refurbishment of Merrion Road Church Carpark including site lighting and new boundary wall

Completed in May 2014. Replacement of existing car park surfaces, new granite paving, tarmacadam, planters, site lighting and new front boundary wall with ornate railings.

Toyota Forklift Building Reinstatement

Completed in June 2012, Reinstatement of 1715m2 existing Forklift Warehouse building including offices, boardroom, showroom and canteen following flood water damage at Toyota Ireland, Kileen Road, Dublin 12.

Bru Chaoimhin Refurbishment

Completed in 2012. Refurbishment of existing Bru Chaoimhin Units 2 & 3 at Cork Street Dublin 8. Refurbishment of Merrion Road Church, Dublin 4

Refurbishment of existing 1500 m2 Church of  Our Lady Queen Of Peace, Merrion Rd, Dublin 4. Work commenced in December 2011 and was completed in June 2012. This work involved decoration of existing church, new mechanical and electrical installations, repairs to plaster, insulation works and replacing existing confessional boxes.

Boyle Credit Union

Boyle Credit Union, Co. Roscommon. Work commenced in January 2011 and completed in September 2011. New Extension to and refurbishment of existing Boyle Credit Union including demolitions and alterations to existing225 m2 listed building and new lift installation and new 160 m2 extension.

Crofton Terrace Refurbishment

Completed in 2008, Alterations and Refurbishment to 5 Crofton Terrace for the Opus Dei Prelature. Project involved refurishment and extension to existing 3 storey house including basement to 450 m2 building.

Glenard House University Residence

Completed in 2010. New University residence for Aileach Centres limited at Glenard House, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14. Project involved demolitions and new link corridor and alterations/ refurbishment to Victorian and Georgian building with re-roofing and replacement of sash windows.
